Once all of the (qty 6 Female & 3 male) companion flanges are out of stock, you will only be able to preorder an adapter, indicating your desire for one on the next run. The qty scheduled for the next production run will be finalized November 3rd. Currently there are qty 10 Ford and 6 GM scheduled for 2025 production. 6061-T6 aluminum adapter from Eaton trans to driver drop Ford 6round tcase pattern.
Clears shift rail on NP205. Factory dowl pin retains factory height or lowest position, all other positions do not use dowl pin.
3 position clockable in 10* incriments from factory np205 conventional position, up to flat np273f position.
One piece housing accommodates endshaft bearing race and hubseal all in one unit body, bearing race and hub seal sold seperately. Build your own Spud shaft or intermediate spline to transmit power, or standby for a two piece companion flange from WixomWorksLLC made specifically for this housing length. 7" overall length shaft, should be target length for correct trans and tcase spline engagement
This Adapter or the factory eaton fuller output face is not meant to support the weight of the vehicle, or sustain impact. While being 1/2" thick at its thinnest point, a transfer case crossmember is recommended for the heavy NP205 and or any high torque application. A frame supported belly skid plate should be installed to prevent damage to the adapter from impacts.

Transmission main shaft end play should still be set using factory shims, to the factory specified manual procedures and tollerences found in Eaton Roadranger literature, by a compitent technician. K-2183 factory shim kit should be used to set proper endplay.

Why do i suggest using a NP271 or NP273F over the venerable NP205? Unless you truly need a front dig twin stick transfer case, a NP271 is lighter, with a higher factory torque rating, and a lower gear ratio with fixed 1350 output companion flanges. The 34spline input and outputs give a considerable strength increase over the 31 and 32 spline np205, due to diameter increase alone. The driveshaft offset clears the transmission better, and gives less offset angle when paired to a 05+ superduty pinion yoke, as these axles are further offset to the driver side than older 60s. NP271 NP273F transfer cases save you money, weight, and can be found across the country anywhere. just dont sit your rig down on one without a skid plate, which isnt suggested with a NP205 either! One other area, aside from front digs, that a np205 does prove to have an advantage, is with overall drive shaft length. The NP205 is a overall shorter package that would help short wheelbase trucks.
Future Variants will become available for GM Chevy Passenger Drop transfer case, 6 bolt round style only, no figure 8. The overall length of this version is ideal for homemade spud shafts. Future shorter versions, and planetary reduction units will become available, as product line grows.
